These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Loom & Thread (the "Service"), a weaving project planner and organizer operated by StitcherGuys LLC, a Kansas limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to create an account. By using the Service you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are responsible for activity under your account.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account.
Loom & Thread offers a free tier (Hobbyist) and paid subscription tiers (Maker and Production), billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice for future billing periods. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
You retain ownership of the content you add to the Service — your projects, yarns, looms, notes, uploaded files, and other information ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We do not sell Your Content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any files you upload.
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:
Loom & Thread provides estimates and calculations to help you plan weaving projects. We work hard to make the math correct, but results depend on the information you enter and on real-world factors such as yarn behavior, finishing, and your own technique. Calculations are provided as helpful guidance, not guarantees. Always sample and use your own judgment before committing materials to a project.
The Service includes reference materials such as the Library, Lexicon, and yarn database. This information is provided for general educational purposes and may include details about third-party books, products, and retailers. We are not responsible for third-party content, pricing, or availability, and any links or references are not endorsements.
The Service, including its design, software, text, and branding, is owned by StitcherGuys and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy or modify the Service.
Loom & Thread is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service or any part of it. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice of significant changes that affect paid plans.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Kansas, unless your local law requires otherwise. StitcherGuys LLC is registered with the Kansas Secretary of State.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
